Reynolds
Josie
Reynolds is a Professional Development Manager for the IBM Corporation. She
is responsible for the career and professional development of a team of
consultants located throughout the country. She
has been at IBM for 14 years and has worked in a variety of positions during
her career. Prior to her current
position, she worked as a Business Planner, Technical Writer and Administrator.
Josie
took a break during her IBM career and ran Josies Sweets, her own
dessert company. Baking was
a long-time hobby for her and during the downsizing of her company she
turned her hobby into a full-time business.
She
was born and raised in Michigan, and moved to the Atlanta area in 1984. She
quickly assimilated to the Southern culture and has made Atlanta her home. She
resides in Marietta and has three adult children. One
is married, and she has two grandchildren. She is married to Bruce, who
is a car salesman at Capital Cadillac.
Josie
has been a member of the Bahai Faith since childhood. She
has served in many volunteer and appointed positions in her Faith. She
is currently Chairperson for her Bahai community in Marietta. She
represents the Bahai Faith on the Atlanta Interfaith Coalition where
she is currently Co-Chairperson. She
serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Area Regional Bahai
Training Institute and is a delegate to the National Bahai Convention
from her district in Cobb County. She is a volunteer with the Friendship
Force and Atlanta Christian Councils bi-annual Friend-to-Friend Weekend. She
has spoken at conferences, special events, weekend retreats and other public
events representing her Faith and the Atlanta Interfaith Coalition.
She
still enjoys baking, as well as reading, walking for exercise, and traveling.
