Action motivated by spiritual values such as justice and brotherhood is the essence of each and every religion. Humanity cannot continue to harbor racial prejudice. The only race is the human race.

The Bahá'í Faith attracts people from every race and nationality who believe that the oneness of humanity is a reality. Bahá'ís are building communities based on love for all people.

Racism

A.W.A.R.E. The purpose of A.W.A.R.E. (Alliance Working to Achieve Racial Equality) at the University of Kentucky is to provide a forum for the discussion of racism and race relations on campus and in the Lexington community. A.W.A.R.E. does not promote itself as an absolute solution for the complex and widespread problem of racism; it simply provides members with factual information and possible viewpoints, and allows each individual to walk away with her or his own perspective.

International Human Rights Watch Human Rights Watch is dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world. They investigate and expose human rights violations and hold abusers accountable. They challenge governments and those who hold power to end abusive practices and respect international human rights law. International Interracial Association This site promotes interracial & intercultural harmony worldwide.

Interracial Family and Social Alliance The Interracial Family & Social Alliance of Dallas/Ft. Worth (IFSA) is currently North Texas' only support and social group serving interracial families and couples. This non-profit organization has been in existence since 1989. Our mission is to affirm the dignity and equality of every racial group through education; to support and serve the interracial unit; and to strengthen the bonds among groups in our multi-ethnic society through community outreach.

Interracial Marriage This site provides links that support inter-racial and inter-ethnic marriage and families.

Interracial Voice IV is published every other month as an independent, information-oriented, networking news journal serving the mixed-race/interracial community in cyberspace. This electronic publication advocates universal recognition of mixed-race individuals as constituting a separate "racial" entity and wholeheartedly supported the initiative to establish a multiracial category on the 2000 Census.

No Room For Racism Shasta County Citizens Against Racism was founded on May 19, 1988 in response to a racially motivated shooting in Redding. Those forming the group felt it was time for an organization to speak out against violent racially motivated attacks that had too long gone unanswered in this largely white (90%) county.

North Carolinians Against Racist and Religious Violence The purpose of NCARRV is to eliminate bigoted violence in North Carolina through educating North Carolinians about its escalation and the prejudices from which such violence arises, and assisting citizens to eliminate hate violence through monitoring and research, victim assistance, community organizing, networking, and suggesting changes in public policy.

Of Many Colors This site is a photo-text exhibition on diversity. This award-winning touring exhibit includes photos and interviews with twenty diverse American families--from young children to grandparents. In a world where race is considered by many to be a formidable barrier between people, the families in this exhibit are celebrated as twentieth century pioneers willing to risk disapproval and misunderstanding to find richness and value in diversity.

Ontario Black Anti-Racist Research Institute This site brings to your attention several very important cases that are before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, Ontario Human Rights Commission, and the Supreme Court of Canada in relation to discrimination and harassment, unsafe working conditions, reprisal actions, under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Ontario Human Rights Code and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

President Clinton's One America This is President Clinton’s site for his initiative on Race Relations in America.

Project on Ethnic Relations (PER) The Project on Ethnic Relations (PER) was founded in 1991 in anticipation of the serious interethnic conflicts that were to erupt following the collapse of Communism in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. PER conducts programs of high-level intervention and dialogue and serves as a neutral mediator in several major disputes in the region. Racism. Just Undo It (RJUI) RJUI is a program that combines art and education to teach children and youth the principles of unity. We match qualified volunteers with a school, club or community organization. The volunteer spends at least three sessions working with the children (ages 5-18), then asks them to express their thoughts and ideas about healing racism through paintings, stories, songs, or other creative forms. The Greenlining Institute This institute is a multi-ethnic public policy and leadership training center in San Francisco that represents thirty-five minority, low-income, small business, civil rights, and community-based organizations throughout California.

The Institutes for Healing Racism At this site, you will find here material about the Institutes for the Healing of Racism. This site welcomes those who have a serious commitment toward healing within themselves, and who recognize the value of sharing their healing journeys with others.The site also contains a variety of useful materials. The Institutes are were people in a community can come together week after week, usually in 10-week sessions to discuss their feelings about racial issues in a safe environment. Each session begins with a presentation on one of three themes: 1. The Oneness of Humanity, 2. The History or Racism, or 3. The Pathology of the Disease of Racism.

The South African Institute of Race Relations This is a liberal, non-profit making research organization. Founded in 1929, the Institute has consistently opposed racial discrimination and promoted the establishment of a nonracial society in South Africa. The Institute is currently engaged in activities designed to strengthen the new democracy.

William Javier Nelson The author of Racial Definition Handbook (which has completed a successful run from March 1996 to May 1997 on the Interracial Voice web site), is offering consultant services for race relations and multi-ethnic relations, which can be adapted for educational or professional formats.

World Federation of Uniracial Activism This organization is committed to a variety of principles, for example: 1) the concept of race on the basis of any other classification or sub-classification than Homo Sapiens is an invidious social artifice that is both scientifically invalid and degenerative of the collective good of humanity, 2) that the multi-racial classification system on the basis of complexion, culture or geographical origin must immediately and totally be eradicated wherever the same has reared its pernicious existence throughout the world.
