Bahá'í
Education Resources
The writings of the
Bahá'í Faith affirm that spiritual education is at the heart of an
educational process that leads to the elevation and transformation
of the human spirit. There is an abundance of information and resources
available for spiritual education within the context of the Bahá'í
Faith.
The Baha'i
Education web site, sponsored by the US National Bahá'í Education
and School Office, provides teachers, parents, and people of all
ages to find out about spiritual education. Bahá'í Online resources
include:
Training
Materials for Youth and Adults: The Core Curriculum for Spiritual
Education series offers not only a comprehensive learning experience
for youth and adults, but also offers the opportunity for people
to deeply explore the principles of Bahá'í education and participate
in a systematic process of providing direct service.
Also, we invite you to join a Study
Circle!
Children's
Spiritual Education: Children are born with an innate nobility
of spirit and recognition of the spiritual, but like dreams that
vanish in the morning, if they aren't captured through conscious
action, this recognition fades, often never to return. It is through
the conscious effort of loving families that the spiritual, the
unexplained, the wonder, can be systematically nurtured and developed,
calling upon the guidance that has been given to humanity by a loving
God, our Source of Being.
Additionally, there are a number of Children's
Classes conducted throughout metro Atlanta.
Children's
Spiritual Education Links: A collection of Web sites sponsored
by Bahá'í institutions that are sources of supplemental information
and resources for children's spiritual education.
Just for fun, visit the Brilliant
Star magazine website, which is a Baha'i companion for young
explorers.
