Who We Are

The Bahá’í community of Atlanta is a vibrant family of individuals from every background and walk of life—united by a shared belief in the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, and the oneness of humanity. Inspired by this vision, we gather regularly for devotional gatherings, educational activities, and acts of community service, striving to apply spiritual principles to the challenges of our time.

Together, we are working to build a community where unity, justice, and service to others are not just ideals, but daily practice. In a world often divided by race, religion, and circumstance, our diverse experiences and shared purpose offer a source of hope—that humanity can live as one global family, with the earth as our common homeland.

The Bahá’í Faith is unique in its structure: it has no clergy and no individuals in positions of personal authority. Instead, it is guided by elected institutions at the local, national, and international levels. Each believer is encouraged to independently explore spiritual truth and contribute to collective progress.
